1. Assessment of Exhaust Fan Function (YEARLY)
This will help you save energy as well as prevent mold and peeling wallpaper
2. Refrigerator Coil Cleaning (YEARLY)
A healthy refrigerator will save money and energy by increasing efficiency
3. Attic Space Analysis (YEARLY)
Things like rodents, bugs, and poor insulation can cause major issues. We’ll make sure the ventilation is good to go!
4. Crawl/Under-Floor Space Analysis (YEARLY)
Our team will look out for water damage, leaks, poor insulation, and unhooked ducts that can cause issues.

5. Test/Replace Smoke and CO Detector (TEST TWICE-YEARLY, REPLACE BATTERIES YEARLY)
We’ll perform tests to make sure your smoke and CO detectors are functioning and that batteries are replaced at least once a year.
6. Gas Leak Testing (YEARLY)
Leaking gas can lead to extremely dangerous situations. Our detectors are designed to detect even the smallest gas leaks.
7. Dryer Vent Cleaning (YEARLY)
If you own a dryer, we’ll clean the vents. This will both increase efficiency and reduce the risk of a fire.

8. Inspect/Clean/Replace (TWICE-YEARLY)
Build up of dust and particles within your furnace filter can make your furnace less efficient, but it can also allow the circulation of dirt and germs throughout the house. Changing filters regularly can prevent issues.
9. Light Bulb Replacement (QUARTERLY)
If and when your light bulbs go out, we’ll make sure their replaced and burning brightly!
10. Interior Plumbing Analysis (QUARTERLY)
Leaking pipes can cause mold and can surely run up your energy bill. We’ll make sure your plumbing is running smoothly!
Keep everything working correctly:
11. Garage Door Check/Lube (yearly)
We’ll check up on your garage door to make sure that it’s opening and closing properly and that the belts are secure.
12. Assessment of Door and Window Function (QUARTERLY)
Are your latches latching? Glass cracked or broken seals? Knobs and hinges need adjusting? Screens in good repair? We can assess it all and can take care of it as part of the quarterly Tiny Fixes.
13. Landscape Analysis (YEARLY)
Not only is unkept landscaping unsightly, it can also be very problematic. For example, tree roots can break pipes and cause extensive damage to the structure of the home!
14. Home Exterior Analysis (TWICE-YEARLY)
We’ll inspect the outside of the home to make sure paneling, foundation, and other pieces of the home are secure and not damaged!
In addition to our 14-point checklist, when you sign up for our program you’ll receive:
- ONE HOUR OF LABOR FOR HANDYMAN FIXES — per quarterly visit or 4 hours each year
($370 value!) Four hours every year to use on any Tiny Fixes or can be applied to Bigger Projects.
And we’ll provide complimentary estimates for Bigger Projects.
Question: What are tiny fixes?
Answer: Tiny Fixes on Each Visit
The Home Maintenance Program includes four labor hours of handyman services per year on the Tiny
Fixes. That can be an hour each visit for small fixes or you can save your hours for a long “honey-do” list
each year. Let us know when to schedule the work time, or if you want to add any hours, and we’ll be there.
The following are some ideas for Tiny Fixes that can be done when you need them:
- Adjust Cabinet Doors and Hardware
- Door Adjustments, Lubrication and Repair
- Plumbing Fixture Caulking
- Drywall Repairs
- Paint and Caulk Touchups
- Minor Electrical Repairs (Replacing outlets, switches, covers, etc.)
- Minor HVAC Repairs
- Doorknob Replacement
- Showerhead Replacement
- Kitchen or Bathroom Faucet Replacement
- Hanging Pictures, Mirrors, Shelves and More
- Minor Plumbing Repairs for Leaks and Drips
- Fix Toilets that Keep Running
- Door Weather Stripping Adjust/Repair
- Exterior Window Caulking or Touch-Up
- Replacing Kitchen Cabinet Handles
- Securing Loose Trim
- Power Wash and Seal Decks

Question: What are Bigger Projects?
Answer: Bigger Projects on request
Bigger projects aren’t your average tune-up or touch-up, but rather require a bit more time and planning. For instance, we consider a bigger project to be something like a kitchen or bathroom remodel. In order to complete these jobs, we need to order products, come up with a plan of action, and spend days to weeks building it out! We’ve been in the business for quite some time, and our team can surely help you build out your dream project.
Even if you haven’t signed up for the Home Maintenance Program yet, you can still call us for an estimate on projects like these or other home repair services:
- Gutter Cleaning or Gutter Guards
- Bathroom Remodel
- Deck Building or Repair
- Repainting Inside and Out
- Install or Upgrade Exterior Lighting
- Replace Doors, Garage Doors or Windows
- Kitchen Remodel
- Retrofit Bathrooms for Handicap Access
- Floor or Room Additions.

If you’re busy with work or other day-to-day tasks, you may not have time to go through your home step by step to make sure everything is in order. We can help keep your home in order while you do what you need to do.
Single parents: Caring for children is hard, especially if you’re doing it on your own! While you care for the kids, we’ll care for the house.
